When you arrive at the station, go to the tourist information center at the east exit and rent a bicycle.
Once you fill out the application and get it completed, it's time to start a fun bicycle trip.

Kamakura Museum

Kamakura Museum is a very popular tourist spot where you can experience real Kamakura (a snow hut made out of Yokote’s snow) all year round, and It also has a shop with a wide selection of souvenirs.

Samurai residence (Haguro Town)

You can have a relaxing time with the historical townscape lined with black walls and a seasonal scenery that only a bicycle trip can provide you.

Former Nisshinkan

The Meiji-era building was constructed for residence of Charles C. Champlin, who was assigned to Yokote as an English teacher.
The building has several beautiful design elements that takes you back to old times

Yokote Park (Yokote Castle)

Yokote Park is where you can overlook Yokote City after climbing up a steep hill.
There is also an observation deck called Yokote Castle, and you can admire the graceful Mt. Choukai on nice sunny days.

Yojiro Ishizaka Literature Memorial Museum

The memorial hall is designed to resemble a townhouse and a storehouse.
Many valuable materials from the time when he lived in Yokote as a teacher and writer are on display. It's a place worth seeing.

Along the Yokote River

Cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, and red yellow leaves in autumn, as you walk along the Yokote river, the beautiful change
of season will amuse your eyes and mind.
