Overview

It is said that the surrounding area is 8.3 m in the eyes and the age is about 500 years. Two sketches in Masumi Suga's "Snow no maeji" are depicting two big trees that are big enough to hide the Biwa swamp. According to legend the big one withered by a lightning strike and one remained.
